Soft, fresh green slightly curving leaves of this easy care variety are beautiful in their own right and when used in displays. It is one of the quicker growing of the air plant varieties. As it is about to flower the leaves turn cherry red, especially in bright, humid conditions. Flowers are purple, and after flowering you are likely to be rewarded with a ‘pup’ or baby plant. This can be left attached to the mother plant, or removed when it is about one third the size of the mother.
